FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Symtron Leads the Development of Biometrics in Silicon Valley

(Sunnyvale, California) Symtron Technology, famous for its leading face recognition technology, will demonstrate its portfolio of solutions, "FaceOn Surveillance", "FaceOn PC Suite", and "FaceOn Access Control" at the Silicon Valley Technology and Homeland Security Summit and Expo in San Jose on the 13th of December.

After the events of September 11th, the stock market plunged, the economy weakened and national security became a top priority in this country. Symtron Technology, Inc. is attending this Summit & Expo in support of Silicon Valley's leadership to enhance homeland security through the development of the biometrics market.

Symtron's core technology lies in verifying a person's identity through means of face recognition technology. In response to the immediate worldwide response against terrorism, Symtron provides non-intrusive biometric solutions, such as the "FaceOn Surveillance System", for use in key public areas such as airports, municipal buildings, etc. The "FaceOn PC Suite"and "FaceOn Access Control"products enable enterprises to secure access to data and physical environments through the unique identification and verification of facial recognition technology.

The FaceOn portfolio of products are ideal for use in critical infrastructures and environments such as cybersecurity, biosecurity, military, public policy and financial services. Symtron believes that the biometric security industry and its products can help shape the future of the Silicon Valley economy by providing new jobs and skill requirements to the area.

FaceOn solutions use Neural Network and Artificial Intelligence technologies to capture facial features as unique attributes. FaceOn then compares the enrolled face with a stored digital image to validate the person's authenticity. Utilizing its advanced technologies, FaceOn products also verify whether an enrolled face is a live person or a photo to prevent intrusion. Moreover, if someone really wants to intrude the FaceOn system, his or her face print will be stored in a database for tracing purposes.

With this innovative and easy to use technology, Symtron expects to attract a great deal of attention from both buyers and media at today's event. With its dynamic display, Symtron becomes the hottest spot at the show for the exchange of industrial information among the exhibitors.
